History has taught us that successful chapter's and colony's have engaged alumni. In August of 2006, the Fraternity completely realigned the function and purpose of its alumni entities; creating four distinct "groups" or "associations" that would act in the best interest of their individual chapter's or colony's, thus benefiting the Fraternity as a whole.

The following are "officially" recognized Chapter Councils, Associations, and Regional Chartered Associations. Information about House Corporations is currently not available via the website. The Fraternity is now looking for volunteers; please contact Fraternity Headquarters to express interest at steve@alphasigmaphi.org.

Regional Chartered Associations
The Regional Chartered Associations are an extension of members, chapters, and colonies located within their geographic region. On application, a Charter shall be granted by the Grand Council to a Regional Association in existence for more than one year and having a membership of twelve or more alumni members of the Fraternity throughout the entire year preceding the date of application for chartering. The Fraternity is working with the Educational Foundation to identify new regional association opportunities. The Fraternity currently recognizes two regional groups. Those interested in starting a regional association should contact Fraternity Headquarters.
