The Loyalty Fund
The Loyalty Fund of Alpha Sigma Phi is the lifeblood of the Educational Foundation. The Loyalty Fund is the annual giving program in which brothers make contributions mainly from their current income. It is often wise for brothers to donate shares of highly appreciated stocks as there is a tax benefit for the donor at the amount of the gift. When shares are donated to Alpha Sigma Phi Educational Foundation before their sale, the donor can avoid paying capital gains tax on those shares. Gifts made to the Loyalty Fund directly impact the Old Gal's undergraduate brothers through educational programming and services, grants, and scholarships.
Lifetime giving levels established at the recent Board of Directors meeting honor alumni whose commitment over the years has helped make Alpha Sigma Phi a leader in the Greek world.

2007 Loyalty Fund Fiscal Year
The 2007 Loyalty Fund was very successful. With more than $460,000 raised to support Alpha Sigma Phi’s great leadership and character-building programs and scholarships, alumni support truly helped to Better the Man.
