FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FEBRUARY 27, 2009 | 5:00 PM EST
CARMEL, INDIANA – Alpha Sigs are known for their passion; passion for involvement, scholarship, and the bonds of brotherhood. One other idea around which they have always found common ground it that the Fraternity’s website was a far cry from reflecting the organizations reputation as the Fraternity of choice for undergraduate men.
On Friday, February 27, 2009, after a year of work, Alpha Sigma Phi launched its new and improved website (www.alphasigmaphi.org). The new design, consistent with the Fraternity’s branding standards was streamlined to provide a cleaner look, and features vastly improved navigability and an enhanced internal search engine. A substantial amount of new content has also been added to the website, bringing the total to over 500 pages. The new homepage lets the Fraternity and Foundation showcase events, programs, and members who best represent its purpose as an organization.
The launch of this website should signal to its members that the Fraternity and Foundation are actively taking steps to make itself more relevant in lives of its members, and that it will continue to look for opportunities to improve its functionality and appeal.
The website project has been managed and designed by The G.I.N. System (www.theginsystem.com ) out of Gainesville, Florida with the support of representatives from both the Fraternity and Foundation. G.I.N. provides comprehensive communications solutions for Greek organizations, graduate schools, social organizations and other membership groups. Representing over 600 Greek chapters and councils internationally, G.I.N.'s 50,000 Greek users form a dynamic community that has helped to create the premier communications web-platform available. G.I.N. utilizes its design and programming excellence to create stimulating external websites, powerful and innovative internal websites, and other applications that truly change the way that organizations communicate. G.I.N. works with its National Partners to develop custom solutions that integrate with existing technologies.
The Fraternity has also partnered with The G.I.N. System to offer custom designed websites for its chapters, colonies, interest groups, and associations. These local websites not only offer a look and feel consistent with the Fraternity’s new look and feel, but they also offer their own member management tools that include a database, survey function, and calendar just to name a few. These reasonably priced website are integrated with the national fraternity’s website. For information and pricing, please contact Theresa Weaver at
