ALLENDALE, MICHIGAN - From February 22nd to February 23rd, Brother of Alpha Sigma Phi and the members of Theta Chi came together to raise funds and collect non-perishable foods for Gods Kitchen.  The men took shifts collecting donations at the Cook-Carrolin Clock Tower on the campus of GVSU.

The event, which is titled 30 Hour Famine has taken place for over 5 years and requires brothers to fast for donations. This year through the combined efforts of both Alpha Sigma Phi and Theta Chi with the assistance of the Grand Valley community the men were able to raise $917 and collect several boxes of canned foods.

Both Alpha Sigma Phi and Theta Chi are thankful to the Grand Valley community for showing their support.  The money raised and the food collected will go along way.
