HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA – It’s been a great year for the Beta Delta Chapter at Marshall University. But then, every year seems to be a good year.
For the fifth straight year, Alpha Sig’s Beta Delta Chapter received the Chapter of Excellence Award at the conclusion of this year’s Greek Week.
No other chapter on campus has won the prestigious award five years in a row.
The chapter was also honored by winning six of eight Greek community organizational awards: Community Service, Dynamic Recruiting, Chapter Programming, Greek Unity, Public Relations, and New Membership Education and Development. And during Greek Week activities, they walked away with trophies for winning the Animal Kingdom Relay Race, the Greek Show, and basketball competition.
Our brothers also received Marshall University’s Community Service Club Award, topping some 180 other campus organizations based on hours of service donated by each member.
To top it off, Chapter President Josh Curry, Marshall ’09, was recognized by the Interfraternity Council as President of the Year.
Congratulations to our Thundering Herd brothers. They’ve really done an outstanding job.
