The last donation came in via the internet at 11:52 p.m. on December 31st. When all of the final internet donations, checks, and stock transfers were added up, the goal of raising $166,000 in honor of our 166th Founders Day had been achieved.

486 Brothers from 96 of our 145 chapters (many first time donors and donors that had not given in years) helped the Foundation achieve this ambitious goal. Drew Thawley, Ohio Wesleyan ’94, Foundation CEO said, “it was not too many years ago that our total annual giving was in the range of what our alumni and undergrads achieved in the last two months. It was an ambitious goal achieved by ambitious Alpha Sigs.”

Funds received for the Campaign FOR EVERY NEW BROTHER are already being put to use and in the next Tomahawk Magazine we’ll list the names of each donor and detail just how their contribution impacted the organization. Thank you to those men who contributed towards this campaign. Raising that kind of money for the Old Gal is significant and is already helping our men become better men.
