The Alpha Sigma Phi Foundation is proud to support Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and shares in its success.

 

• Alpha Sigma Phi has now reached a record number of groups -- 74 chapters, 16 colonies, and 5 interest groups, which is a 32% increase over six years. All are supported by alumni volunteer mentors.
• Last fall, Alpha Sigma Phi welcomed 923 recruits, an increase of more than 30% over the previous semester record. And more than 90% of those men are initiated -- a leading percentage in the Greek Community.
• 2011 saw the first session of Elevate: the National Leadership Conference in more than a decade, which taught more than 200 undergraduates skills that will make them effective leaders and citizens.
• This January, more than 260 chapter and colony Presidents, Recruitment Directors, and Membership Education Directors participated in the Fraternity's Academy of Leadership. Nearly every chapter was represented.

While Alpha Sigs are rightfully proud of this progress, the work is far from done. Growth is expanding the scope of the mission. This year's Burns Institute had more than 600 applications -- the most ever received for an Alpha Sigma Phi leadership event. Due to funding constraints, the Fraternity was able to accommodate just over 250 men.

Next year, even more applications are expected. There is a similar story to tell about financial aid scholarships and other leadership and values-based programs. Demand is outpacing supply.

Your support assures continued growth in the quality of the brotherhood as Alpha Sigma Phi grows in numbers. Strong chapters and strong leaders are two crucial components of success.
