About Renew
Renew (verb) \ri-ˈnü, -ˈnyü\: to gather with Alpha Sig Alumni, reminisce with friends, share in brotherhood, and leave with a sense of commitment to the Old Gal and her cause to better men. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect singles, couples, brothers, alumni groups, and families.
In late winter, Alpha Sigs from around the country will come together in a relaxing and fun environment. With Ravella Resort in Lake Las Vegas as the background, this annual event not only serves as an opportunity to relax or take in the sights and sounds of nearby Las Vegas, but also serves an opportunity to reconnect, rejuvenate, and renew your oath to the Old Gal through this national brotherhood event.
For a complete list of events and activities take a look at the RENEW 2012 schedule. Our program is lite, so that there is ample time for Brothers to reconnect, but we will offer a few focused alumni programs on Saturday morning. The Ravella provides ample meeting space, which might benefit alumni or house corporation groups. Evening receptions and Saturday’s Black and White Gala are included. There are also opportunities to participate in activities like a Hoover Dam boat tour, fly fishing, golf, Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Experience, shopping, gardens, and entertainment shows. There is additional cost for each, but are very reasonable.
We intentionally chose a resort area off "the strip," with easy access for those interested. Being on the strip was an option, but would miss our target objectives of the weekend. Weekend packages for single and double rooms range from $650 to $750 per person, depending on options.
Many reservation options are available. We also have arranged a special hotel room rate for nights before and after the event if you would like to extend your vacation.
